Every family has a story. Ours began with an accident. Back in 1992, Nicholas, co-founder of Nacura Life, was asked by his father to turn on the backyard grill. Like many curious kids, he admits he was more interested in pretending the grill knobs were controls for fighter jets than paying attention to whether the grill had actually lit. Without realizing it, the gas had been left on.
Then... BOOM!
The sudden flash burned the skin on his knuckles. Without hesitation, Nicholas's father rushed inside and urgently asked his wife to gather a handful of natural ingredients and blend them together into a simple mixture. He soaked his hand in it throughout the evening. By the next morning, our family was amazed by how his skin looked and felt. That experience sparked something much bigger than we could have imagined.
Curious about what we had witnessed, our family spent the following years refining the formula, making adjustments, and using it ourselves wherever skin needed extra care. It quickly became the remedy our family reached for first, and before long we were sharing it with relatives, close friends, and neighbors. As more people experienced healthier skin, they continued coming back and asking for more. Their encouragement inspired us to keep making more formulas.
More than 35 years later, what began as an unexpected family experience has grown into Nacura Life, a family-owned company dedicated to creating mineral-rich skin care and body wellness products made with carefully selected natural ingredients.
